Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for choosing deSter. We aim to ensure your satisfaction and confidence in our products. Please review our return and refund guidelines below.


1. Return Eligibility

1.1. Ordered Incorrect Products or Quantities

If you have ordered the wrong item or quantity, you may request a return within five (5) business days of delivery, provided the products are:

  • Unused and undamaged,
  • Complete and in their original, unopened packaging, and
  • Approved for return by our team via an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).

Returns are not accepted without prior written consent from deSter.

1.2. Received Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

If your shipment contains damaged or defective items, or if there are significant quantity or product discrepancies:

  • Contact us within five (5) business days of delivery at info.usa@dester.com.
  • Include your order number and clear photographs of the issue(s).
  • Our team will evaluate the issue and inform you of the next steps.

Note: deSter reserves the right to reject refund claims if damage results from improper use or storage.


2. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact our customer service via our contact form or email us at info.usa@dester.com.
  2. Upon approval, we will issue a return form within 48 hours.
  3. After you return the completed form, we will provide shipping instructions and a return label (if applicable).

Returned products must be sent prepaid and in accordance with the instructions provided. Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.


3. Refunds

Once your returned items are received and inspected:

  • Refunds will be issued via your original payment method.
  • Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days of receipt.
  • A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund amount on all approved returns unless due to a verified defect or shipping error.

Note: Opened cases, used items, or products not in resalable condition are not eligible for refunds. If returned in error, they may be discarded or returned to you at your expense.


4. Return Shipping Costs

  • Returns due to customer ordering errors are subject to return shipping at the buyer’s expense.
  • If a return is due to a product defect or a shipping error on our part, we will cover return shipping costs after verifying the issue.

5. Guarantees and Claims

deSter guarantees that all products will conform to our published specifications and are fit for normal, intended use at the time of delivery. This guarantee does not extend to:

  • Minor variations in size, color, weight, or materials,
  • Damage caused by improper handling or storage, or
  • Claims submitted beyond the specified timelines.

Inspection

Buyers must inspect all products immediately upon receipt. Any claim for damage, defect, or discrepancy must be made in writing within 48 hours of discovery.

Failure to submit a timely claim will constitute acceptance of the products and waive any right to return or refund.


6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, deSter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from defective or non-conforming products. The sole and exclusive remedy shall be refund, repair, or replacement of the affected items, at our discretion.
